Violeta Lyskoit

Hello!
So recently I checked out a store parfumeria.lt that carries brands like Sleek,  W7, L.A. Girl, L.A. Colors, Nabla and etc. I was actually searching for the L.A. Girl matte  pigment gloss in "Dreamy" but for my disappointment they didn't have one at that time. But then this gold shiny palette caught my eyes.  Let's just take a minute to appreciate the packaging. But for real, how chic does this look? I love the gold shine inside and out. And how nice it is to also include a full size mirror!? Love the design of this palette, it looks for more than 14.99$! I am not a huge than on the brush that comes with it but still, it's a nice addition. Good job Sleek!!
It's a Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette in Solstice 032. Basically, this whole palette is not only meant to be used on your face, you can also apply it on your body which is really awesome! Sleek recommends to apply it with a powder brush to shoulders, down the centre of the arms and across decolletage (what is this?? wait a sec I need to google it).
That else I can mention.. This palette comes in 2 options: silver and the golden one. I actually wanted to get a silver one in the shade "Precious Metals" because it had more natural colours, but the gold one was the only one left but I am still very glad I got exactly this one!
The next thing I want to talk about is the shade range. I have to say, these are some damn pretty colours over there. Oh, and the names are so out of this world! You get a really creamy light brown-coffee-cashmere colour (Ecliptic), shinny and sparkly lilac colour powder (Hemisphere), light and bright yellowish creamy shade (Subsolar) and lastly you get apricot coloured shimmery powder (Equinox).
I guess it's time to talk about the pigmentation. I would say that these are highly pigmented and blend really well. It has been such a struggle to take a picture of the highlight, but with the help of ipiccy I managed it haha. I love how both powder and cream colours work well together. It's one of those palettes which all of the colours are going to be used.

If you need more info I recommend reading from the picture down below, I think Sleek did an amazing job with this instruction. It says what every single highlight is for and how to apply it! Overall, I think this palette is a great addition to your makeup collection and totally worth the money!
♡
Let me know if you have ever tried something from Sleek Makeup and if you do , let me know that was it!
♡
I hope you enjoyed and are having an amazing morning/day/evening/night!

I don't know whether you are familiar with that these fonts are for, but if you are not, then I can tell you a bit about the purpose of these and how to use them.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
What are these fonts for?
I use custom fonts to spice up my blog pictures and add some flair (e.g. here, here, here). Many youtubers use these for their video thumbnails.

How to download?
You go to any free fonts webpage (just type "free fonts" in a google search bar), in this situation, I have chosen fonts from www.dafont.com so you just need to click on a font name, e.g. "Antrokas" under "Download" and when a new window pops out, click the "Download" button on the right side of the page and your download will be started!

How to install?
When it's downloaded, you need to extract the zip file, then open it and click on the ttf file and when the table pops up just click the install button. That's all!

Where to find your new fonts?
I noticed that my custom fonts show on Picmonkey, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point so far. If you want to see your new fonts, first you need to restart all the programs that are running, e.g. Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, in order for fonts to show up.

I hope you liked this kind of "Blogging tips" post and found it helpful! I am planning on doing more of these in the future!

Tell me what's your favorite site to download fonts from!

So for a very long time I wanted to buy myself a palette with mostly nude shades. I was looking for palettes like Naked 1,2,3, basics by Urban Decay, The Balm Nude'tude, Nude'dude and other palettes more on the expensive side. But after quite a bit of thinking I decided that my first ever palette should not be expensive or high end. Just a quick info: I am that type of person who likes to invest in quality items, I prefer having 1 good and expensive palette than a lot of cheap ones, of course, there are A LOT of very good drugstore makeup, but this is only my opinion:) As a beginner in this whole makeup sphere I think it's amazing that you can buy so many affordable and great quality drugstore makeup.
And back to the topic, I was walking around "Drogas" in our shopping centre "Akropolis" searching for a pretty nudes based palette and I stopped by Maybelline's The Nudes and Loreal's Colour Riche La Palette Nude. After swatching on my hand a bit I liked the Maybelline palette more so I decided to buy it. It had a discount of 4 euros so I think that I got it for a great deal (it costs ~16eur where I live and I got it for ~12eur)!

Review:

I am really glad that I got it. It has 12 eyeshadows altogether. If I understood correctly, it consists of 5 matte (3,5,6,8,12) and 7 shimmer (1,2, 4,7,9,10,11) shadows. Please correct me if I am wrong!

So I swatched all the colours on my hand and I have to say that I am pretty impressed. I didn't need to put a lot of layers to build the same colour on my hand as one in the palette. I would say that the first one (1) is more suitable as a highlight here or there in my opinion because it applies almost clear, not pigmented at all, but I think it would look really pretty under lower lash line and to highlight my brow bone. 2, 3 & 5 are very light brown, neutral/nude colours with whom you can never go wrong. I think the most intense and pigmented colour in this palette is the 4 one. It almost looks like a very dark gold colour. I think it would look perfect in the crease! 6,7,8 & 10 - more browner shades, which are more on the darker side. 9 is an amazing light gold, which will suit any of your looks! 11 has a lot more of the white pigment than 1, but it has less shimmer in it. This must be one of my favorite ones in this palette! And lastly 12, it is a perfect black shade, which is not over dramatic and I think is meant to be used to create a smoky eye look!
I think my favorites are 1,2,5,6,8,9 & 11, but I love all of these!
Overall, I am very happy that I picked up this particular palette in the store because it has shimmers and mattes, also almost all the colours in the palette are nicely pigmented, blend really well and look gorgeous on the eyes! It is a wonderful palette for it's price:) Highly recommended! +++

By the way, I am planning on doing different eye makeup looks using this palette so stay tuned for that!:)
If you already have this palette, please let me know what do you think of it. Have a nice day!
