Violeta Lyskoit

Hello!
Not that long ago in the mail I got delivered some Sleek Makeup products! So far I only owned one thing from Sleek and it's their Solstice highlighting palette, I did a review on it already, you can click to see it here. That highligting palette worked for me so well that I kept my expectations fairly high for the whole Sleek Makeup brand. And that I have to tell you, it did not dissapoint me again! I got Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Storm and 2 lipsticks - true colour lipstick in Papaya Punch (matte) and Cherry (sheen).

Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Storm
About I-Divine palettes: Sleek MakeUP’s legendary i-Divine eyeshadow palettes are 12 shades of super-pigmented, longlasting, mineral based eyeshadow, designed to suit all. Each i-Divine eyeshadow palette contains pearlescent shades, which contain mica particles that highlight and illuminate giving an overall radiant effect. Available in a variety of colour ways, your i-Divine is waiting for you.
First of all, all the colours in the Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow palette in Storm are A-MA-ZING. It's a mixture of 3 mattes and 9 shimmers. I would say that majority of these colours are perfect for everyday wear and the ones like green and blue are more for the evening and special events, I love that they included a matte black colour, I feel like it's an essential, but still many makeup brands do not include it in their makeup palettes. Also that I really like are the names of colours. That's like so creative! Oh, and I forget to mention that Sleek's packaging is killing the game, I love how simple and yet so chic and sleek (haha) it is. I find matte packaging extremely appealing. Another huge plus is the mirror, which does not distort the image. I saw that a lot of people struggle with their Sleek palettes getting broken, I don't know that's the deal, but I really hope mine won't fall apart. Talking about pigmentation, I would say that these are pigmented good enough, neither extremely well nor poorly. I actually really like this fact, because I tend to overdose with shadows and look like a racoon afterwards haha. Oh, and shadows blend really well! I would say that these are quite long lasting, it was actually quite a challenge to get if off with a makeup remover. Overall, so far so good. I love this palette! (actually, it's only my second eyeshadow palette, which is quite odd for a beauty blogger haha). I took A LOT of pictures of this palette, so make sure to scroll down for pics and the most exciting part, the SWATCHES!
About Storm: Storm contains shimmery neutral pinks and beiges perfect for day looks and gorgeous shades of dark blue, green and copper for elegant evening looks. This palette is perfect to take your look from natural to bold.
Price is 11.99€ for 13.20g. I think you can't get better than that! I am excited to try out more I-Divine variations!

True Colour Lipsticks
These are insane! I can't believe that lipsticks like these actually exist! I find them super creamy, extremely pigmented and long-lasting. I got 2 pieces, first one is in Papaya Punch, which is a stunning matte bright coral, second one is Cherry, it's sheen dark red.
Product info: Get high impact lips with True Colour Lipstick in a gorgeous matte and sheen finishes in a variety of shades that are highly pigmented, and conditioning to keep lips soft and supple. Enriched with vitamin E helping to hydrate and protect the lips. Comfortable to wear and glides on with ease this is the must have to awaken your makeup look.
I have to admit that these did not dry my lips, which I find unbelievable, I believe that's because of vitamin C. That I also noticed  is that these lipsticks do stain. After rough rubbing it looked like my lips were not washed out completely, I am not sure whether that's a bad thing or a good thing, let me know! Have to admit, it was quite a struggle to remove these even with a makeup remover.
Price is 6.99€ for 3,5g, which I think is fair, considering how good these are! Very excited to try out more shades. Love love love! (swatches down bellow)

Let me know if you have tried anything from Sleek Makeup!

Hello!
I am super excited to finally re-do my first ever artcile (here), which lets admit it's very crappy, but for some reason, it's the most popular post on my blog! So, after almost a year I decided to re-do it and make it more informative, helpful and of course interesting for you to read. Today I am reviewing BH cosmetics 10pc Pop Art Brush Set. Lets hop right in!
Product description:
"Cute and convenient, this 10 pcs Pop Art Brush Set comes in a durable striped container with snap closer for easy travel. Convertible into a brush caddy that looks great on your bathroom counter or dressing table, this set is packed full of super soft complexion and eye brushes with neon colored handles that pop!"
This set comes with 10 brushes: 5 for face, 4 for eyes and 1 for the lips. What I love about these brushes is their colourfulness. They are so fun to look at, so doing makeup is even more entertaining this way! With this set also comes a brush holder which is very convenient and high quality, I also really love it's design - stripes are always a good choice!

Brushes:
1. Powder Blush. It's a perfect powder blush. So far I have only tried it out with pressed powder and it does the job well!
2. Angled Powder/ Blush Brush. Personally I use this one to highlight my cheeks, because I am not a fan of blushes and it works just fine!
3. Foundation Brush. I used to apply my liquid foundation with this one before I discovered a makeup sponge, that I've noticed is that it leaves foundation streakes, which is not really cute and I am pretty sure that's the reason why I stopped using it.
4. Complexion Blending Brush. I have still not found out that these complexion brushes are for! But I am pretty positive that this one would work great for setting under eye zone. Well, now I have to try this tehnique.
5. Flat Complexion Brush. Well, I don't really use this brush that much, sometimes I apply my highlighter with it.
6. Tappered Eyeshadow Blending Brush. This one is so good for blending! love love love this.
7. Fluffy Angled Eyeshadow Brush. Also perfect! It's so great for creating that smoky eye effect.
8. Angled Liner/ Brow Brush. I use this one to line and fill in my eyebrows specificaly and it works great! I love how precise it is.
9. Lip Brush. I use this one to cover my spots!
10. Spooley Brush. it's always good to have a spooley brush, right?

You may have noticed that I use some of these for not their original purpose, but that just shows that they are versatile! I would say that this set comes with a perfect amount of brushes for a beginer in makeup (well, I still don't really know that complecion brushes are for haha, maybe you know and could enlighten me?). Probably that I've missed out in this set the most is a contour brush.

As I mentioned I love how these look! Not only these bright handles caught my eye, but also white bristles with black top. Brushes are I would say perfect weight, not to heavy and not too light. Handels themselves are made of wood and bristles are synthetic,

I've been using them for about 2 years now and, guys, now I can truly say that they are great quality. I've washed them multiple times since I've purchased these and not even a single bristle has shed (or maybe it did when I wasn't watching haha). They wash really well, personally I wash them either with shampoo or shower cream. After wash they are still as soft as they were right when I purchased them. And an important thing that I have to tell you is that 2 brushes kinda "disconnected", black part disconnected from the wooden part. But I fixed this little problem with a little bit of glue and it looks like it has never even happened haha. I plan on using them for a couple more years for sure!
Talking about softness I could not say much but that I can say that for me these are softer than Real Techniques, but not as soft as Ecotools (I have a few of these, would you like me to review them?). Although bristles are synthetic they are very soft and fluffy also very densely stuffed, which is great.

Overall, I don't know about others, but these brushes work great for me and I use them on daily basis. I bought them from topbeauty.lt () (not available anymore) and they were worth 120lt (~35eur) and I can totally say that these are absolutely worth the price. They are great quality, soft, do not shed, apply makeup smoothly, easy to wash, versatile and really nice and fun looking!

I hope you guys enjoyed this really long review and please let me know if you have tried anything from BH cosmetics! Have fun x

I am a very lazy person when it comes to styling my hair so I usually just leave it naturally (straight). But guys, when I found out that things like auto-rotating curling irons exist, which means that you don't need to curl your hair around the wand by yourself, it will do it for you,  I understood it was made for girls like me, who want something more fancy, but still don't want to spend so much energy/time achieving it.

*before jumping right in I wanted to make a quick announcement, I created a Facebook page (here) for my blog, where I will share my newest blog posts so you could never miss out on one, sneak peaks and a lot more. So please make sure to press a like on that page! Press here*

Just a couple of days ago in the mail I got delivered my eagerly awaited Ruby Auto Rotating Curler by Irresistible Me. Irresistible Me is based in New York, USA and they sell 100% Remy hair clip-in extensions, wigs, hair accessories, tools and even hair care products! The tool came in a neat and safely packed (which is very important considering the fact that it had to make its way all across the ocean) black sleek box. By the way, not only the tool came in an excellent condition, it also came very quickly (8 days in total)

When you open the box you can see many features listed that the curler has:
• diamond/ceramic/tourmaline technology - diamond coating enhances its durability and heat transfer. Tourmaline gemstone is a natural source of negative ions and far-infrared heat, which provides faster styling. Negative ions eliminate frizz and lock in moisture by closing the cuticle to create smooth, shiny hair.
• automatic curling iron - there are 3 buttons ( red, "L" and "R").  First, you clasp the end of your hair between the clasp and then press and hold the "L" button to left/clockwise rotate the barrel or the "R" button for automatic right/counterclockwise rotation. Then you just release the button to stop rotating. After auto rotating press the red reset button, which returns the barrel to its initial position and this way saves your time.

• auto shut off - the curler has a one hour auto sleep function that will put the curler into standby mode.
• universal voltage - but depending on there you live you will need a plug adapter, because it comes with a USA power plug.

• rotating auto recovery
• fast heat up - it claims to heat up in less than a minute!
• ergonomic design
• light weight tool - it's not heavy, but still feels durable and sturdy in the hands.
• 360° rotating barrel
• 2,5 m power cord
*• 5 adjustable temperature options: 260°F, 300°F, 340°F, 380°F and 410°F (or 127°C, 149°C, 171°C, 193°C and 210°C) - it's recommended to use low heat for hair that has been color treated or is fragile or damaged.

Overall,
although the whole technology really isn't that complicated, thanks to the booklet it was easy to figure out how the curler works. I noticed it wasn't enough to keep my hair wrapped for 5-10 seconds. For loose soft curls effect I have to keep my hair wrapped for at least 20 seconds (340°F) and in the booklet indicated maximum time is 10 seconds! I don't know whether my hair is super thick or what, but 10 seconds didn't work out for me. I will admit, I am not a fan of tight curls so picking thicker sections of hair and holding them for about 20 seconds is a perfect combo for my beloved loose beachy soft curles. By the way, I plan on doing a video including this hair styler in the near future where I can show you how I curl my hair and how I style my curls! So far I really enjoy using Ruby!

If you are interested in buying this Ruby Auto Rotating Curler click here. Now it cost $119, but sometimes it is given a discount so keep your eyes wide open! By the way, the Irresistibleme.com is giving 20% off on your first order so you can get this curler or any other product from this website for a lot cheaper! Anyways, thank you so much for reading, have a lovely day/night and I will speak to you soon, bye!
