Welcome to my first empties blog post! I don't have many products, but the ones I have totes deserve some attention:)
First of all, not a big surprise, I have even 3 Batiste dry shampoos laying over there. And hands down these are my all time essentials (you can read more about them in my 2015 beauty favorites post!) I have already repurchased Batiste Blush full size product, which as the company says has a flirty and floral fragrance (and it does smell heavenly!). I also loved  using travel size one after gym or PE class, have to stock up on this one too! And THE last one has a hint of color, it's Batiste Light & Blonde, which I also liked, because it lightened up my ash blonde roots very nicely, but I won't be repurchasing this one soon because i want to try other ones:)
Another empty is also my all time favorite - Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream (I have talked a bit about it here). This has always been my go-to holy grail makeup product, but I really want to try something new, but still I think I will buy it again and keep it with the rest of my makeup just in case ha ha.
Now it's Uriage L'eau Demaquillante cleansing water micellar solution (THAT A LONG NAME) turn. It's one of my face care routine products (I've talked about it here), which I use almost on the daily basis to clean makeup off my face and eye area and it's already repurchased! I recommend you to try it:)
And last product is Douglas Beauty System Clean & Neat Comfortable Cleansing Milk, which I was very excited to try out, because it's from a completely new Douglas beauty line. I was using this when I still did not have my Uriage cleansing water repurchased and I really liked it, because it not only cleaned my entire makeup so easily, but also left it moisturized and soft because of the oils in it. Thinking of trying something else from the Douglas beauty line, because so far so good!

That's all for my January empties, I hope you enjoyed. I wish you a good day/night. Have fun!

Hello!
One of my New Year's resolutions was to start reading more and I am so down for it! When I was in elementary-middle school, I used to read a lot, but then high school began all the books were replaced with the internet and homework. I could only find time to read non-school literature during summer break, which is a shame. This time I started reading for my pleasure not in the summer, but on this winter break (I've already read 2 books by now!). I was inspired to start reading again by a Lithuanian youtuber Ieva MaslauskaitÄ— (Chanelette). She is so fascinating and so inspiring I recommend checking her out if you haven't already! Anyways, back to the point, just before the holidays I went to a bookstore, and I won't lie, I spend more time in a bookstore than in any other store (sorry makeup), I just can't choose among all the amazing books that exist! So many books, so little time..

I am so pumped to read "Spintologija" by AgnÄ— GilytÄ—. It's a Lithuanian author's book about fashion which is extolled by all the fashionistas in Lithuania so I really want to know what is so special about this book and maybe learn some fashion tricks from it and then share them with you hm? Another book is a legend - "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I have read the reviews and did not find even a single one negative. By the way, I bought this book in English because I want to improve my English skills, but also to try to read a book in its original language. I really hope I will understand the main idea of the book even though I won't be reading it in my mother language (fingers crossed)! And the last book that I actually bought from the internet also in English is "Looking For Alaska" by John Green. I know how much John Green is beloved by all the teen-young adult generation so I really wanted to read one of his bestsellers!
♡
That's it, as I said, it's a very small book haul, but I hope there will be more of these in the future. I hope you are excited for my reviews on these books! And guys please leave me in the comments down bellow some of your favorite book names so I could check them out!

I hope you are having an amazing day/night and I wish you all the best! xx

Guys it's 2016!! I hope you have a good one! So I am pretty sure that you are one of those whose one of the New Year resolutions was to start eating healthy (mine too haha). So I have a really simple and delicious salad for you to help keep up with the resolution! I believe that most of these ingredients you already have in your fridge. I don't write quantities because I hope you understand that it depends on your liking and make sure to withdraw or replace the products you don't like:)

Fresh tomatoes | Red onion | Salad leaves | Black olives | Mozzarella cheese | Pickled pearl onions
Chop, mix and here you go! I don't add any salad dressing, but of course you can:) Let me know if you have tried it out and whether you liked it or not:)

Hello!
So first of all, Merry Christmas! I am so sorry for being mia lately, but I  was just enjoying doing absolutely nothing (movie marathoons for days).. And that's great!
I know that I am quite late with all the essentials for winter, but I think it's better later than never. So I hope you enjoy!

1. Blanket.
Who doesn't need a cozy and soft blanket to snuggle into on cold, nipping and snowy winter days?
2. Slippers.
I can't stand walking barefoot because I feel like I am picking all the dirt from the flooring and I love my socks too much to get them dirty and gross ha ha
3. Warm toy.
Not only you have a cute toy laying near you, but it also keeps you warm!
4. Socks.
I have a somewhat obsession with cute socks so I collect them lol
5. Books.
What can be better than lying in bed with a book in your hands and a cup of coffee/tea by your side? And this leads to another essential...
6. Coffee/Tea.
I would say these two are essentials all year round:)
7. Thermo mug.
I see that last three essentials are quite related ha ha. A thermo mug is a life saver when it comes to going to school/work early when it is even colder than during the day or when you are running late you can just grab it and drink it on the go:)
I really hope you can find at least a few of these in your winter essentials list:) And please write the ones that I did not mention in the comments down bellow!
As this year is ending, I wish all the negativity and difficulties to also end with this year and 2016 bring success and desired results for you. This New Year may you rediscover yourself and emerge as a more confident and contented soul! (x)

The Holly Jolly Holiday Tag!

1. Favorite Christmas movie?
I actually don't have one favorite Christmas movie, but I always enjoy "Yolki" series! It's Russian production movies, that are always released before Christmas/New Year. There are 4 movies released I think.  These are amazing! I always burst out laughing when watching! That is unfortunate, I think that there is no English version. But I am pretty positive that you can find one with subtitles!
2. Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?
I think I belong in Naughty list ha ha.
3. Show us an embarrassing Christmas Card photo!
Is it sad that my family doesn't even have one? It's a great tradition, but it's not common to do that in Lithuania
4. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
For Lithuanians it's normal and actually nothing special to have a White Christmas, but in the past few years, unfortunately, there was no snow on the Christmas day, just rain and a lot of puddles.. Global warming shows a clear impact:(
5. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Usually just stay at home or visit my grandparents.
6. Play or sing your favorite Christmas song!
Ha ha,  maybe no. But I can share with you with one of my favorite playlists on youtube to listen while waiting for the Christmas, press here.
7. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Usually just stay at home or visit my grandparents.
8. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
I won't even try ha ha! Well, I know Rudolph, that's it (shame on me).
9. What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?
Our family and relatives have this tradition to bake patties with mushrooms, poppy seeds and stewed cabbage and then exchange with each other:) Also in my family every Christmas Eve begins with everyone sharing their Christmas wafers. I just know that it is a Christian thing:)
10. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake. And it's the same one that I remember from my childhood!
11. Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?
Well, various pastries of course:) I would tell that I love eating "Chocolate Santas" or other Chrsitmasy candies, but sadly I am allergic to chocolate:((
12. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Definitely giving gifts, oh and make sure to participate in my giveaway here which ends on the Christmas Eve!
13. Show us your tackiest Christmas attire!
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of me during Christmas! I usually take pictures of other people.
14. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Maybe Disneyland or Lapland in Finland:)
15. Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?
I would say nothing special, because usually my grandmas cook everything and we just bring our pastries:)
16. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
Actually, I am not that bad at gift wrapping, but for sure I would call myself a pro-present wrapper!
17. Most memorable Holiday moment?
I think it happened when I was 6-7 years old. I got an amazing barbie house that I kept in my room until I turned 16. I believe that my mother gave it away to kids in need, just like she does with all my toys and clothes, which I grew out.
18. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
Time:) (also I spotted my mom putting presents under the Christmas tree ha ha)
19. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Yes, I always do. Most of the time I stick to them:)
20. What makes the Holidays special for you?
The calm and relaxing atmosphere. Oh and the snow!

Now, I TAG EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!

Hello,
I don't know if you have noticed, but I  haven't been posting as much as I would usually. And I just wanted to apologise and explain why. I am a 11 form student, which means that for this year I had to select the subjects needed for my further career development. I have chosen A levels of Biology and Chemistry. These subjects were always my favourite, but the curriculum this year has changed drastically compared to 10 form and I did not even mention that I also have 8 more subjects besides these that I need to prepare for.  I just can't mentally handle the pressure that I get from school and balance my social and school life. Blogging for me isn't just a hobby, it's also my way to relax and it may sound cheesy, but it's the thing that makes me happy. I could post more blog posts, but I just want them to be the best I can do, and for me it takes about 3-7 days, sometimes more to complete a single blogpost and sometimes, in days like this when I find some time to blog, I try to do as much as I can do, but it just gets overwhelming. I don't want to go to more details and I just really hope that you will understand.. This actually makes me mad that I can't post as much as I would love to, especially during the Holiday time. Anyways, I am so happy that the Holidays are coming and I will have a few weeks to sleep in, because these past few months I wasn't getting enough of sleep because of the schoolwork I needed to complete.
♡
I love you guys so so much and your support and comprehension would mean the world to me! I am really sorry that I can't promise you to post more often, but I will try my hardest (by the way, I already have a few posts, that I am currently working on, in my drafts). I wish you an amazing time!
